Providing a vital pedestrian link between the Riverbank and the city, the architecturally unique footbridge was a key part of reinvigorating Adelaide’s picturesque riverbank precinct.

A curvilinear, sleek, elegant and slender form clad in a snakeskin patterned glass in the park-like setting on the oval side connects the bridge to the city’s southern side and the new meeting place provided by a redeveloped Adelaide festival bistro, grand stairs and useable water feature.

"By integrating design and economics the design team was able to deliver much more than a bridge. I am very proud of my involvement in this infrastructure investment."
